My preferred method of communication for this is Discord, where we can easily share files and screenshots. I want your animated model to look as good as possible, so I want to share any issues like that before beginning work. I also need to let you know if there are topo problems or other issues that are likely to lead to undesirable deformations, so you have a chance to fix them. A lot of the time, people who don't know how to rig don't know the details that are involved, so I need to ask about how you want to use the model, what engine you want to render it in, etc. The way that this usually works, I need to see a mesh- a final mesh, although not necessarily textured- and then I need to spend some time talking with you about your needs. I'm not willing to do NSFW stuff, not because I'm against that, but just because I can't show it off to clients. If the license requires attribution, I will need to know who to credit. So CC-0, CC-SA, hell, GPL, those are all fine licenses. I am willing to rig models that you didn't make, but only if the license permits. (Sometimes people are self-conscious about the things they make.) If you use the model in an animation, shoot me a link, and I'll share it with potential clients (could be exposure for me and you.) If you want attribution, I'll give it if you don't want attribution, I won't. Here's the catch: you need to let me share the work privately, as a file, with potential clients, you need to let me show the work in public places, as a portfolio, and you need to let me share your contact information with potential clients as a reference. So I need to build up a portfolio, and that's why I'm making this offer. The paid work, nobody ever wants to let me share it with future clients. I do both organic and mechanical rigging. I've been using Blender for, I dunno, 6 years rigging is what I'm best at.
